The V1506 from Colormetrics is the answer to the question at the POS, how POS systems should be designed: the vertically built all-in-one model with a touch widescreen is the optimal combination of user-friendliness, solid performance and modern technology. The result: a reliable POS system with a small footprint and attractive design.

The hardware of the V1506 is contained inside, giving the POS system a sleek, light visual appearance. Regarding handling you have your choice between two various touch technologies: resistive or capacitive one. No matter which one you choose you will receive a POS system with an open frame, elegant surface.
With a screen size of 15.6'' (39.6 cm) and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, the V1506 has more than enough space for work-related applications, highly detailed product presentation, comprehensive price lists and more. Thanks to the internal Intel HD graphics chip it is even possible to implement complex graphical elements. Its Intel Celeron J1900 2 GHz quad-core processor and full 4 GB DDR3 RAM (expandable up to 8 GB) provide the V1506 with plenty of processing power right from the start, in every case.
Additionally, the POS system features a minimum of 128 GB SSD memory for storing transaction data, prices, images, discount information, etc. As needed, you also expand the SSD memory, which operates without any moving parts, making it more resistant to failures and wear and tear. Naturally, there is also an Ethernet port for connecting to the network, as well as a 12V or 24V interface for cash drawers. No POS is complete without a selection of accessory devices, so the V1506 comes with 3 serial/COM ports, 5 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 slots.
If you are looking for a POS for a quiet application area with upscale clientele, such as a jewelry store or boutique, you get your money's worth with the V1506. Since it does not have any mechanical ventilation, there are also no moving parts, which increases the life cycle and provides silent operation.
